Once again we shall unite the adventurers, thrill seekers and professional chillers for the  annual float day. This is a day dedicated to celebrating summer and all the joys of the festive season. Forget about the world, grab your swim wear and something (anything) that floats and head over to the island.

Awesome prizes to be won for the most outrageous floatation device - the crazier the better. Judging criteria will be based on size, style, relevance and originality.

The Float Ceremony:

This year we will be having a floating ceremony which begins at the tip of the island where floaters ride the incoming tide back to the beach bar. A prizes will be awarded to the three fastest floaters - the more you chill, the faster you float (it's science-ish/it's science I promise). Registration starts at 1pm and the float commences at 3:30pm. There will be live music and DJs all day long to keep you entertained.

There will be a ferry fee of R80 to cover return trips to and from the island.

Private watercrafts will not be charged.
